F2 and F3 have unveiled their 2025 season calendars.

F2 will visit the same 14 venues as in 2024 but in line with F1’s calendar tweak, the season will kick off Down Under in Melbourne, Australia on weekend of 14-16 March rather than in Bahrain due to Ramadan.

The trip to Bahrain will instead take place from 11-13 April followed by Saudi Arabia a week later across 18-20 April.

F2 will then enter an extensive European leg from mid May starting with a trip to Imola, followed by Monaco, Spain, Austria, Great Britain, Belgium and Hungary before the summer break commences on 3 August.

Belgium and Hungary though have swapped slots in contrast to 2024’s European schedule on the calendar.

Like in 2024, F2 won’t race at Zandvoort, Netherlands, and instead kick off the season’s run-in at Monza from 5-7 September, followed by a trip to Azerbaijan on weekend of 19-21 September ahead of the controversial two-month break.

The season will conclude with trips to Qatar then Abu Dhabi on weekends of 28-30 November and 5-7 December respectively.

F2 CEO, Bruno Michel explained that the 2025 calendar strikes “… the right balance between European rounds and fly-aways, across three continents, and keeping in mind the costs for our teams and drivers.

“It’s also a good mixture between old-school tracks and more modern layouts, which both have seen thrilling F2 races in recent years.”
