An entertaining first leg in Munich saw Vinicius Junior put Real ahead with a 23rd minute strike before Leroy Sane cancelled out his effort with an early second-half equaliser, before Harry Kane put Bayern ahead from the penalty spot only for Vinicius to equalise from the spot himself in a 2-2 draw.

Alphonse Davies seemed to win a much tighter second leg for Bayer with a thunderous long-range strike, until Joselu came on as a substitute and netted a late brace to snatch a 4-3 aggregate win for Real who won 2-1 at home in the second leg to reach their 18th final in this competition.

A tight first leg saw Niclas Fullkrug net a 36th minute smash-and-grab winner for Dortmund in the first leg at home, in a game where PSG constantly wasted chances throughout.

Another wasteful performance from PSG – this time at home – in the second leg ultimately proved their downfall, as Mats Hummel headed in a 50th minute winner from Julian Brandt’s corner to seal a 2-0 aggregate win and a third appearance in the final of this competition for Dortmund.
