Eberechi Eze could return for Palace after he missed their 1-1 draw at Fulham with a knee injury.

Marc Guehi (knee) is also set to be available but Sam Johnstone (elbow), Rob Holding (hamstring), Jefferson Lerma (muscle), Matheus Franca (adductor) and Cheick Docoure (Achilles) remain absent.

Man Utd could be without midfielder, Bruno Fernandes after the Portuguese struggled with a wrist injury during the week.

Harry Maguire is ruled out with a muscle injury which will keep him out of Utd’s last four league matches.

Jonny Evans (muscle) and Scott McTominay (knee) are doubtful for selection, but will face late fitness checks.

Willy Kambwala (knock), Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw (both muscle), Lisandro Martinez (calf), Victor Lindelöf (hamstring), Tyrell Malacia (knee), Marcus Rashford (ankle) and Anthony Martial (groin) remain sidelined.

When is Kick-Off?

Palace host Man Utd at Selhurst Park on Bank Holiday Monday 6 May at 8pm BST, live on Sky Sports in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Crystal Palace have claimed 14 points from their last nine league meetings against Man Utd (W4, D2, L3).
  • Man Utd have lost one of their last seven visits to Crystal Palace (W4, D2, L1).
  • Palace can achieve a first Premier League double over United with a win here.
  • Jean-Philippe Mateta has scored seven goals in Palace’s last five home matches (W3, D1, L1).
  • Bruno Fernandes has scored three goals in Utd’s last two away matches (D1, L1).

Prediction

Unbeaten in four matches and hitting their groove now under Glasner, Palace certainly will be confident causing a surprise result if they can be more clinical than they were in their draw at Fulham because they are showing promise of what they could become in time.

Man Utd meanwhile should of beaten Burnley but were just wasteful despite their dominance with little composure in their final touches, so there is work to do especially if Fernandes, McTominay and Rashford aren’t available to boost their attacking options.

Maguire though is a huge loss defensively for a team which has kept just four clean sheets and have a defensive injury crisis, which could well play into Palace’s hands if Evans doesn’t start and Utd are sloppy at the back.

Palace also have a decent home record under Glasner with one loss in five matches so this will be a tough test for Man Utd, whose defence could be their downfall here if Glasner’s Eagles can continue their momentum.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 2-1 Manchester United
