Top-ten chasing Wolves entertain relegation battling Luton at Molineux.

Victory would see Wolves climb to 10th in the table, whilst Luton can move out of the relegation zone with a win.

Prediction

Winless in their last seven games in all competitions amidst some tough injury-related absences, Wolves have to view this as a must-win game if they want to stop their rut and avoid an end-of-season freefall.

The midweek defeat to Bournemouth though was slightly harsh thanks to VAR because Wolves didn’t play too badly, with a defensive mistake and some poor end product having cost them at least a draw.

Luton meanwhile absolutely deserved their defeat against Brentford because their defensive marking was just awful, whilst they lacked much attacking fight and couldn’t handle the Bees’ counter-attacking pace in a game which they really needed to win.

Rob Edwards’ Hatters therefore need to turn up and deliver a huge improvement against a out-of-form team, because we know they can deliver goals but their defence has often been their downfall but this is now absolute must-win.

Molineux though hasn’t really been their strongest ground in recent visits but if there is a time to produce a result, it is now but Wolves will not make it easy.

Prediction: Wolves 1-2 Luton

Result: Wolves 2-1 Luton
