Arsenal continue their title push against Chelsea in a rearranged Premier League clash at Emirates Stadium.
Victory would keep Arsenal top of the table, whilst Chelsea can go seventh with a win.
Team News
Arsenal have no fresh injury concerns to report following their league win at Wolves on Saturday evening.
Jurrien Timber (ACL) remains sidelined.
Chelsea could be without Cole Palmer after he missed training due to illness following their FA Cup exit to Manchester City.
Malo Gusto and Ben Chilwell both face late fitness tests after suffering knocks in the cup game.
Robert Sanchez (illness) and Christopher Nkunku (hamstring) are back in training but it is unclear if either player will be available for selection.
Levi Colwill (toe), Reece James, Lesley Ugochukwu (both hamstring), Wesley Fofana (ACL) and Romeo Lavia (thigh) remain ruled out.
When is Kick-Off?
Arsenal host Chelsea at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday 23 April at 8pm BST, live on TNT Sports 1 in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Arsenal have lost one of their last eight league meetings against Chelsea (W5, D2, L1)
- Chelsea have won two of their last five league visits to Arsenal (W2, L3).
- Both teams have scored in three of their last four meetings – except for 1-0 Arsenal win at Chelsea in November 2022.
- Defeat would see Arsenal suffer two consecutive league losses at home for the first time since March – April 2022.
- Chelsea have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 11 league matches on the road (W4, D2, L5).
Prediction
After enduring two tough defeats in just over the past week, Arsenal looked back to their best in a dominant display at an injury-hit Wolves with patience and clinical goals but they will need to again be at their best here against a stubborn Chelsea defence.
Chelsea however were incredibly wasteful in their FA Cup loss to Man City because they looked the much better team at times, yet just were poor in their end product with Nicolas Jackson particularly sloppy with his shot taking.
I however do expect Mauricio Pochettino’s Blues to come out fighting with a response but if Palmer doesn’t feature, he will be a huge loss creatively and Arsenal will surely maximise that opportunity otherwise this could well be a draw.
Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea
Result: Arsenal 5-0 Chelsea
