2023-24 Sky Bet Championship: Week 40 – Leicester vs Norwich

Leicester City meet Norwich City at the King Power Stadium in the race for promotion.

Victory would put Leicester top before Ipswich and Leeds play in evening kick-offs, whilst Norwich can stay sixth with a win.

Prediction

With defeats in four of their last six league matches, Leicester certainly need to turn their form around if want to avoid the play-off lottery yet they absolutely can’t be as wasteful as they were in their defeat at Bristol City.

Norwich meanwhile have a four-point gap over Coventry in the race for the final play-off spot but the latter have two games in hand come mid-April, so David Wagner’s Canaries can’t afford to drop many points but were lucky to come from behind to beat Plymouth after a sloppy first half.

Both teams though are in contrasting form but I do expect this game to be pretty scrappy and a draw might just be a fair result if Leicester can convert their chances.

Prediction: Leicester 1-1 Norwich

Result: Leicester 3-1 Norwich
