West Ham and Liverpool are on course for a potential all-English Final in 2023-24 UEFA Europa League, having avoided being drawn together in the Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals.
David Moyes’ Hammers will face Bayer Leverkusen in the Quarter-Finals with the first leg away then second leg at home – having eliminated Bayer’s fellow German rival, Freiburg in the Round of 16 with a dominant second-leg comeback at home.
Should West Ham progress to the semi-finals, they will play the first leg away to the winner of the all-Italian Quarter-Final between AC Milan and AS Roma.
Liverpool meanwhile have been rewarded for their dominant Round of 16 win over Sparta Prague with a Quarter-Final against Atalanta, and will play the first leg at Anfield before heading to Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia for the second leg.
Should Jurgen Klopp’s Reds advance to the final four, they will face either Benfica or Marseille, with the first leg away before hosting the second leg at home at Anfield for a place in the Final.
The winner of the first semi-final involving two of Benfica, Marseille, Liverpool or Atalanta will be the designated home team in the Final, whilst one of AC Milan, Roma, Bayer Leverkusen or West Ham will be the away team.
Quarter-Final ties will be played across two legs on 11 and 18 April, with the two-legged semi-finals played across 2 and 9 May.
The Final will be played at Aviva Stadium, Dublin, Ireland, on Wednesday 22 May at 8pm GMT.
