Manchester United will host Chelsea whilst Tottenham face Leicester in the semi-finals of 2023-24 Women’s FA Cup.
Marc Skinner’s Red Devils will host three-time reigning champions, Chelsea in a blockbuster semi-final which pits last season’s finalists against each other, although Emma Hayes’ Blues will be without last season’s match winner – Sam Kerr after she suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury in January.
Man Utd comfortably dispatched last season’s semi-finalists, Brighton & Hove Albion in the Quarter-Finals, whilst Chelsea scraped past Everton through Catarina Macario’s 66th minute winner.
Tottenham Hotspur’s reward for shocking three-time winners, Manchester City on penalties after a 1-1 draw, is a home tie against Leicester City after Willie Kirk’s Foxes shocked Liverpool with a 2-0 away win.
Victory would see either Tottenham or Leicester reach the Women’s FA Cup Final for the first time in their history, with this semi-final representing the furthest that both teams have advanced in the competition’s history.
Semi-final ties will be played on the weekend of 13-14 April live on BBC, with one fixture expected to be broadcast on BBC1 whilst the other tie is anticipated to be transmitted on BBC2.
