Steve Clarke has named his squad for friendlies against Netherlands and Northern Ireland.

In goal, Robby McCrorie has been dropped with Hearts’ Craig Gordon recalled to the squad alongside Norwich’s Angus Gunn.

Grant Hanley, Andrew Robertson, John Souttar and Kieran Tierney meanwhile all returned in defence as only Josh Doig was dropped.

Ryan Jack and Callum McGregor are ruled out with injuries, with Clark having opted to not name any replacements, with Ryan Christie instead shifted from forward selection to fill Jack’s spot in the midfield.

Up front, Jacob Brown is absent with a knee injury so Hearts’ Lawrence Shankland has replaced him in the squad.
