Guide to the Fourth Round draw in the 2023-24 FA Cup as teams move one step closer towards the title.

A busy Third Round saw Maidstone United spring a giant killing whilst teams like Aston Villa, Brighton, Newcastle and Watford overcame potential banana skin ties to book their spots in the Fourth Round draw.

The next round will see 32 teams participate with each club seeking to take that step closer towards cup glory and a place in the Fifth Round, whilst Non League and EFL clubs look to receive a glamourous tie against Premier League opposition.

Now, here is a guide to the Fourth Round draw of 2023-24 FA Cup.

 

When is the Fourth Round Draw?

The Fourth Round draw will take place at approximately 7:50pm GMT on Monday 8 January 2024, live on ITV1 in the UK, prior to the broadcaster’s coverage of Wigan’s Third Round tie against Manchester United.

 

How Many Teams will Feature in Fourth Round Draw?

There will be a minimum of 33 teams involved in the draw due to some ties needing to be replayed, whilst Wigan’s tie against Man Utd takes place following the draw.

When is the Fourth Round Taking Place?

The Fourth Round will take place from 26-29 January live across BBC and ITV in the UK, with winners receiving £120,000 of prize money plus a Fifth Round spot.
