When is Kick-Off?

Bournemouth meet Fulham at the Vitality Stadium in a 3pm GMT kick-off on Boxing Day, live on Amazon Prime in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Bournemouth have avoided defeat in three of their four previous Premier League meetings against Fulham (W2, D1, L1).
  • Fulham have won one of their two previous Premier League visits to Bournemouth (W1, L1).
  • Dominic Solanke has scored in each of his last four appearances for Bournemouth against Fulham.
  • Bournemouth’s Solanke has scored five goals in his last four league appearances (W3, D1).
  • No Fulham player is yet to make a last-man tackle this season.

Prediction

Having taken 16 points in their last six matches, Bournemouth certainly are hitting their stride which is a festive miracle given their disastrous start under Andoni Iraola – who frankly is lucky to reach Xmas still in charge yet he has got them playing entertaining but enjoyable football now.

The Cherries’ defensive fragilities however were back on show at Forest with two sloppy goals conceded, but their resilience and confidence shone through especially up front with Dominic Solanke currently in hot form.

Fulham meanwhile were unlucky to lose at home to Burnley because they were excellent on the attack but just frustratingly lacked that end product to beat James Trafford whilst two pieces of poor marking were punished, so they need to use that frustration to mount a response here.

Now if they do that but with better luck in converting their chances then we could have a Boxing Day cracker on the cards, otherwise Bournemouth should have the edge given their momentum and confidence at present.

Prediction: Bournemouth 2-1 Fulham

Result: Bournemouth 3-0 Fulham
