2023-24 Premier League: Week 16 – Fulham vs West Ham

Fulham look to continue their move away from the relegation battle against London rivals, West Ham at Craven Cottage.

Victory will lift Fulham up to 10th in the table if Chelsea lose at Everton, whilst West Ham can go sixth with a win – although fifth is achievable if win by six or more goals.

Fulham have no fresh injury concerns to report following their midweek win at home to Nottingham Forest.

Adama Traore (hamstring) and Rodrigo Muniz (knee) could return but Issa Diop (foot) is still sidelined.

West Ham could welcome goalkeeper, Alphonse Areola back into contention after he missed their comeback win at Tottenham with a wrist injury.

Michail Antonio (knee) remains absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Fulham host West Ham at Craven Cottage in a 2pm GMT kick-off on Sunday 10 December, untelevised live in the UK.

Stat Attack

Prediction

After cruising past Forest with a clinical attacking performance complete with creative play and fluidity, Fulham now need to just bring the same quality and intensity if want to achieve consecutive league wins for the first time this season now that the goals are flowing.

West Ham meanwhile were absolutely resilient defensively against a dominant display from Tottenham aside from a sloppy corner, yet were ultimately more clinical with their chances and I do expect more of the same here if Fulham play like they did in midwek.

A draw therefore feels like a fair guess because both teams do have goals in them but can be quite vulnerable defensively at times.

Prediction: Fulham 1-1 West Ham

Result: Fulham 5-0 West Ham
