2023-24 Premier League: Week 15 – Tottenham vs West Ham

Tottenham host London rivals, West Ham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a huge Premier League contest.

Victory would see Tottenham stay fifth and move level on 30 points with fourth-placed Manchester City, whilst West Ham will stay ninth with a win.

Prediction

Winless in their last four matches, Tottenham know that a win will put them right back in the title mix heading into a busy period, especially after a spirited fightback to draw at Man City amidst some sloppy defending which Romero’s return should help lessen.

West Ham meanwhile showed how resilient their defence were against Palace except for a sloppy mistake from Konstantinos Mavropanos, which is a positive coming into a trick game like this but their end product will need to be more clinical because it was just lacking last time out.

I though can’t see Spurs losing this even if they concede given how leaky their defence is because their attack is very strong with goals in every game this season, which is something that West Ham must be wary of but the Hammers are a strong goalscoring team themselves.

A draw therefore feels like a fair bet because both teams could well cancel each other out if they play like they did last weekend on quick-paced attacks, whilst their defences in the top-flight aren’t exactly solid neither in recent weeks.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 West Ham

Result: Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 West Ham
