Arsenal have drawn Liverpool whilst Sunderland host Newcastle in a blockbuster Third Round draw in 2023-24 FA Cup.

Current Premier League leaders, Arsenal will host Liverpool at Emirates Stadium in a blockbuster clash between two teams who have won 22 FA Cups between them in total.

Eddie Howe’s Newcastle will head to Tony Mowbray’s Sunderland in the first Tyne-Wear derby since a 1-1 draw in the Premier League in March 2016, whilst this would be the first FA Cup clash between the North-East rivals since March 1956 which the Magpies won 2-0 at St James’ Park.

League One’s Wigan will look to cause a giant killing as the Latics host Erik Ten Hag’s inconsistent Manchester United at the DW Stadium.

Reigning champions, Manchester City kick off their title defence at home to 1922 winners, Huddersfield Town at the Etihad Stadium.

Unai Emery’s Aston Villa face a tricky visit to Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium, whilst Stoke host last season’s semi-finalists, Brighton at the BET365 Stadium in a rematch of last season’s Fifth Round contest.

Non League’s Maidstone will host the winner of Stevenage’s replay against Port Vale.

Sheffield United will look to avoid a cupset after they were drawn away at Gillingham.

Third Rond ties will be played across 5-8 January 2024, with matches selected for broadcast live across BBC and ITV in the UK announced in due course.
