UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifying: Group A – Scotland vs Norway

Scotland conclude their UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifying campaign against Norway at Hampden Park in Group A.

Victory will see Scotland top the group if Spain fail to win elsewhere, whilst Norway can secure third with at least a draw regardless of what Georgia achieves away to Spain.

Scotland have no fresh injury concerns to report after their 2-2 draw away to Georgia on Thursday evening.

Norway will be without Erling Haaland after he suffered an ankle injury during their friendly win over Faroe Islands.

When is Kick-Off?

Scotland host Norway at Hampden Park in a 7:45pm GMT kick-off on Sunday 19 November, live on Viaplay Sport 1 in the UK.

Prediction

With top spot in Group A looking unlikely but assured of qualification, Scotland can afford to relax but must show more attacking quality in their end product than they mustered in Georgia because this will be another tough test.

Norway meanwhile comfortably beat Faroe Islands in a friendly but are now without Haaland on top of the already absent Martin Odegaard and Alexander Sorloth, with the trio all pretty big losses in terms of their attacking option tactically.

Their absence therefore will certainly give Scotland a boost in belief but I do expect Norway to still cause some issues, such is the closeness in talent across both squads and a draw might well be a fair call given that there is very little to play for in Glasgow.

Prediction: Scotland 1-1 Norway

Result: Scotland 3-3 Norway
