Prediction
After claiming a dominant but deserved Carabao Cup win at home to Burnley in midweek, Everton now need to use that performance as a base to build upon and play even better in order to build momentum, especially after their rocky start to the campaign.
Brighton meanwhile really should of beaten Fulham for all of their excellent attacking play, yet a frustrating end product and slip in defensive focus cost them the win, although they probably can expect the same from a now more solidly-defensive Everton here.
Sean Dyche’s Toffees though have only won twice at home this season and if Brighton can turn up with the same attacking quality but neater end product, I have to fancy them to edge this game depending on how fit Everton are after their midweek antics.
