Shandon Baptiste could return for Brentford after recovering from a shoulder injury, which had sidelined him in recent weeks.

Mikkel Damsgaard, Rico Henry (both knee), Josh Dasilva (hamstring), Kevin Schade (adductor), Keane Lewis-Potter (calf) and Ivan Toney (suspnesion) remain absent.

West Ham have no fresh injury concerns to report after their midweek Carabao Cup win against Arsenal but Edson Alvarez and Lucas Paqueta are both suspended.

When is Kick-Off?

Brentford host West Ham at Gtech Community Stadium in a 3:00pm GMT kick-off on Saturday 4 November, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

After claiming two clinical wins over Burnley and Chelsea in their last two matches, Brentford certainly can come into this derby full of confidence especially after how they resiliently defended against the Blues – whilst ruthlessly maximising their chances in an efficient performance.

West Ham meanwhile have been in bit of a rut with just one win in their last four games which conveniently came against fellow London opposition – Arsenal in midweek, where the Hammers simply showed more desire and quality despite a weak first half end product.

Thomas Frank’s Bees though have had more rest time and have a fearsome London derby record in the top-flight, which might just make the difference given that West Ham are without two of their best midfielders in Alvarez and Paqueta.

Prediction: Brentford 2-1 West Ham

Result: Brentford 3-2 West Ham
