Newcastle United will visit Chelsea in the headline tie of the 2023 Carabao Cup Quarter-Finals.
Newcastle’s reward for extracting revenge upon reigning champions, Manchester United in a 3-0 win at Old Trafford is a trip to Chelsea, after Mauricio Pochettino’s Blues beat Blackburn by a 2-0 result.
Liverpool will host West Ham after the pair overcame Bournemouth and Arsenal respectively in the Fourth Round, with that tie set for Wednesday 20 December due to both clubs finding themselves in league action on the preceding Sunday.
Everton face an all Premier League clash against Fulham and their ex manager, Marco Silva at Goodison Park.
One non Premier League club will be guaranteed a semi-final spot after League One’s Port Vale were drawn at home to Championship’s Middlesbrough in an all-EFL tie.
Quarter-Final ties will be played across the midweek of 19-20 December, with two matches selected for live broadcast on Sky Sports.
