
BBC and ITV have announced broadcast picks for the First Round of 2023-24 FA Cup.
As is tradition in line with their contract, BBC will broadcast two live matches beginning with Blackpool’s trip toBromley at Hayes Lane on Saturday 4 November, with kick-off confirmed for 5:45pm GMT live on BBC Two.
BBC Two will also televise Cray Valley Paper Mills’ London derby visit to Charlton Athletic at The Valley, with the match confirmed for Sunday 5 November at 5:30pm.
ITV will broadcast three ties across the weekend starting with Walsall’s trip to Isthmian League South East’s Sheppey United on Friday 3 November, which will be live on ITV4 with a 7:45pm kick-off.
Two fixtures will be broadcast across ITV network on Sunday 5 November, beginning with a mouth-watering clash between National League leaders, Chesterfield at home to League One’s table-topping Portsmouth at 12:15pm on ITV1.
Crewe Alexandra’s all-EFL tie at home to Derby County will be available for exclusive streaming on ITVX, with kick-off at Gresty Road set for 2:45pm.
