2023-24 Premier League: Week Four – Crystal Palace vs Wolves

Crystal Palace meet Wolves at Selhurst Park in a mid-table Premier League clash.

Victory would see Palace climb as high as sixth in the table, whilst Wolves can move up to at least 11th with a win.

Will Hughes could return for Crystal Palace after recovering from a knee injury.

Matheus Franca (back) and Michael Olise (hamstring) both remain absent.

Wolves could be without Hwang Hee-Chan who faces a late fitness test due to a minor hamstring injury.

Joseph Hodge is ruled out of this match with a thigh injury suffered during their midweek Carabao Cup win over Blackpool.

When is Kick-Off?

Prediction

Sat comfortably mid-table after snatching a clinical point at Brentford last weekend, Palace certainly can come into this match looking to play their best attacking football for the first time since their opening win against Sheffield United.

Wolves meanwhile ruthlessly dismantled Blackpool in midweek which could give Gary O’Neil a headscratcher, as he can either stick with that starting line-up and hope that they can replicate that quality or twist and return to the team which scraped past Everton last weekend.

Either way, Selhurst Park is a difficult ground for Wolves but if they can continue to play like they’ve done in the last week, I do think that they could have enough to claim a share of the spoils.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Wolves

Result: Crystal Palace 3-2 Wolves
