Crystal Palace welcome Wolves to Selhurst Park as two in-form teams seek to extend their unbeaten runs.
Victory could put Palace as high as ninth in the table depending on results elsewhere, whereas Wolves can climb to fifth with a win if Manchester United lose in the lunchtime kick-off.
Team News
Will Hughes is a doubt for Crystal Palace after suffering a back injury.
Eberechi Eze (fitness) is a doubt but Nathan Ferguson (Achilles) remains ruled out despite nearing a return to first-team training.
Wolves could again be without Marcal due to a calf injury but the Brazilian faces a late fitness test.
Jonny, Pedro Neto (both knee), Yerson Mosquera and Hugo Bueno (both hamstring) remain ruled out.
Stat Attack
- Crystal Palace are unbeaten in three of their last five league meetings against Wolves (W2, D1, L2).
- Wolves have won three of their last six league visits to Selhurst Park (W3, D1, L2).
- Wolves are yet to receive a penalty in six previous Premier League meetings against Palace.
- Coming into this matchweek, no Premier League defender has made more tackles than Palace’s Tyrick Mitchell, who has made 32 tackles in ten league appearances.
- Only one of Wolves’ 11 league goals this season has been scored from a free-kick.
Prediction
After impressing in their win at Manchester City last weekend with aggressive pressing and excellent defending, Palace certainly can come into this match full of confidence but I do expect them to be in for a tough test here because they will be favourites here as the home team.
Wolves meanwhile have found their feet under Bruno Lage now and seem to have found a clinical touch on the attack, yet their defence still seems to be their biggest issue with a lucky win over Everton following multiple defensive errors which the Toffees failed to punish properly.
On that note, I am expecting a competitive game here between two in-form teams where finishing could well be crucial to the result, which I can see finishing in a score draw.
Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Wolves
Result: Crystal Palace 2-0 Wolves
