Brighton, Liverpool, Rangers and West Ham Discover Groups In 2023-24 UEFA Europa League

Brighton, Liverpool, Rangers and West Ham have discovered their groups for 2023-24 UEFA Europa League Group Stage.

Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton are making their first appearance in any UEFA competition for the first time in history, which has seen them placed in a tricky Group B alongside Ajax, Marseille plus AEK Athens.

West Ham are back in this competition after winning last season’s Europa Conference League and have landed in Group A, where Olympiacos, SC Freiburg and Serbia’s Backa Topola await the Hammers.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are back in this stage of the Europa League for the first time since 2015-16 season, with the Reds set to face LASK, Union Saint-Gilloise and Toulouse in Group E.

Rangers meanwhile are back in this competition for the first time since they reached the Final in May 2022, where they lost on penalties to eventual champions, Eintracht Frankfurt.

Last season’s runners-up, AS Roma are in Group G alongside Slavia Prague, Sheriff and Servette.

Group Stage action will kick off on Tuesday 19 September and conclude on Wednesday 13 December, with every team playing three games on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each respectively across the following matchweeks:
