Bournemouth chase a first win of the season in a home clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Vitality Stadium.

Victory could see Bournemouth go as high as fourth in the table, whereas a win could put Spurs top until Saturday teatime at minimum.

Prediction

Their chances of getting a result at Liverpool was always a tall order last weekend but Bournemouth can be proud of their effort, because they took the game to the Reds from the get-go with a proper intensity but quality just proved the difference in the end.

Tottenham meanwhile have adapted well so far to Ange Postecoglou’s style of play despite media hysterics tipping them to struggle, with a great all-round performance to beat Man Utd with their defence into attack transitions particularly looking impressive.

Bournemouth however will be another tricky test for Tottenham especially after last season’s pair of five-goal thrillers, but the Cherries will be a huge threat from the off if they can build upon the positives of their trip to Anfield but are cleaner in their end product play.

Prediction: Bournemouth 1-1 Tottenham

Result: Bournemouth 0-2 Tottenham
