Brighton & Hove Albion look to continue their strong start to the season as they visit Wolves at Molineux.
Victory will see Brighton go top for at least a few hours, whilst Wolves can move firmly into mid-table with a win.
Team News

Wolves have no fresh injury concerns to report after suffering a controversial defeat at Manchester United last Monday.
Brighton manager, Roberto De Zerbi could opt to start Adam Webster and Adam Lallana after the pair were rested during the Seagulls’ opening win over Luton.
Jakub Moder remains absent as he continues to recover from a serious knee injury which has kept him out since April 2022.
When is Kick-Off?
Wolves face Brighton at Molineux in a 3pm BST kick-off on Saturday 19 August, untelevised in UK.
Stat Attack
- Wolves have lost three of their last five meetings against Brighton (W2, L3).
- Brighton have avoided defeat in four of their last five visits to Wolves (W2, D2, L1).
- Pascal Gross has scored three goals in his last two Brighton appearances against Wolves (W2).
- Wolves are unbeaten in six of their last seven home matches (W5, D1, L1).
- Brighton have lost four of their last six away matches (W2, L4).
Prediction
Wolves will come into this game pumped up to deliver a strong response to their tough defeat at Man Utd, where they dominated but lacked clinical end product and were denied a late penalty which will only motivate them to make amends.
We also should remember that Gary O’Neil only had five days to impose his style of play upon his new squad, so to put in a strong performance like they did is credit to the team and they can only improve moving forward.
Brighton meanwhile to their credit didn’t underestimate newly-promoted Luton and showed patience in the first half, before their class ultimately showed in a solid all-round performance aside from a sloppy foul to concede a penalty.
Now if both teams bring their best game to Molineux, I can see an entertaining contest brewing although Brighton should have enough to edge past Wolves whose end product remains a concern.
Prediction: Wolves 1-2 Brighton
Result: Wolves 1-4 Brighton
