Defender, Antonee Robinson has signed a new five-year contract at Fulham until June 2028.

Robinson joined Fulham from Wigan in late August 2020 after the Latics were relegated to League One, coincidentally in a 2019-20 campaign which saw Fulham promoted to the Premier League via the Play-Offs.

The US international has since scored three goals in 108 appearances for the Cottagers, of which all three goals came in a successful 2021-22 season, as he helped them clinch instant promotion back to the top-flight as champions after being relegated in his first season at the club.

Robinson went on to miss just three league matches last season in a campaign where he delivered consistent performances, which has earned him a new five-year contract

Speaking to FFCtv about his decision to stay at the club, Robinson issued a thank you to supporters, as he commented: “To the fans who have stuck by me, supported me ever since I’ve been at this Club, it’s been one hell of a ride.

“Some ups, some downs, especially off the back of last season, I just want to thank you for your massive support.

“I’m going to repay that support with a lot of hard work to improve myself, and continue to grow as a team.”

Fulham’s Vice-Chairman and Director of Football Operations, Tony Khan meanwhile has described Robinson’s decision to sign a five-year contract as a “very exciting” statement of intent for the club.

Speaking about Robinson’s fresh commitment, Khan said: “Since his arrival in 2020, he’s been a very important part of the Fulham squad.

“He’s a tenacious defender and a remarkable athlete, with great pace that serves us well up and down the pitch, through his hard work in defence and the great service he provides to our attack.

“Jedi’s also a remarkable person, both on and off the pitch. He’s a great friend and a great teammate, beloved by his squad and the staff with whom he works, both here at Fulham as well as the USMNT, where he’s also a very important player.”
