Brentford have launched a bold two-season home kit across 2023-24 and 24-25 seasons.
In a slight change from their red and white shirt of the last two seasons with both designs made by Umbro, Brentford have retained the white stripes in full but the red stripes will now contain a black finishing towards the bottom of the shirt incorporating their ‘bee sting’ graphic.
The armhole sections however have changed from red and white stripes to red and black sections, which is replicated around the collar.
Hollywood Bets continue to be the front of shirt sponsor but PensionBee will now sponsor the shirt sleeves, with PensionBee also becoming the front of shirt sponsor for the junior shirts plus Brentford B, Women’s and academy team shirts.
The ‘bee sting’ is also reflected in the shorts and socks which are primarily black, with red strips and a small white section running down the sides of the shorts, whilst a red hoop runs around the top of the socks with grey sections at the heel and toe sections.
Upon unveiling the new home shirt, Brentford’s Chief Executive, Jon Varney said that the club “are proud” to again “have collaborated with Umbro in designing this bold but traditional kit.”
Varney also addressed the decision to continue their two-year cycles which commenced in 2017 as he explained: “The two-year cycle not only ensures affordability for our fans but also aligns with our commitment to reducing waste and promoting a greener future for the next generation of Bees fans.”
The promotional campaign accompanying the new home kit is headlined by a ‘We’re all home.’ message which directly speaks about the club’s inclusive nature for club supporters.
Expanding upon the message’s meaning, Varney commented: “It celebrates the fact that regardless of your age, background, or where you’re from, Brentford is a place that welcomes everyone.
“Whether you grew up in a devoted Brentford family or simply fell in love with the team, this kit represents the home we all share.”
The kit is priced at £60 for adults and £45 for children although each item can be brought separately in-store or online at shop.brentfordfc.com if preferable, with season ticket holders or members receiving a £5 discount on the new kit via email.
Brentford will kick off the 2023-24 Premier League season at home to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday 13 August, live on Sky Sports in a 2pm BST kick-off.
