Prediction
AC Milan can enter this game high on confidence given their strong form with no defeats in nine games but given that this is a semi-final against their local rivals – who share the same stadium, they are going to need to be at their best after scraping past Napoli with two clinical displays.
Inter meanwhile are unbeaten in their last six matches in which they have scored 18 goals and conceded just four goals, yet their two domestic clashes against AC Milan this season have been decided by one-goal margins so I do expect this to be just as closely fought.
In fact, I do feel like this tie has the potential to be super-close but Inter are yet to beat AC Milan in the Champions League, yet it is they who do have the stronger firepower up front so a draw to take into the return leg does seem the safest bet.
