Tottenham Hotspur face Brighton & Hove Albion at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a crunch Premier League clash in the top-four race.
Victory would see Tottenham go fourth if Manchester United lose to Everton in the lunchtime kick-off, whilst Brighton can stay sixth with a win but move to within one point of Spurs.
Team News

Lucas Moura is suspended for Tottenham’s next three matches after he was sent off in their 1-1 draw at Everton.
Richarlison (muscle) won’t be risked unless he is declared match fit by club doctors.
Emerson Royal (knee), Ben Davies, Ryan Sessegnon (both hamstring), Rodrigo Bentancur (ACL) and Yves Bissouma (ankle) remain absent.
Brighton will have Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo available despite suffering a knock and ankle injury respectively during their midweek victory at Bournemouth.
Tariq Lamptey (knee) could return but Jeremy Sarmiento (foot), Jakub Moder (knee) and Adam Lallana (hamstring) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Tottenham host Brighton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a 3pm BST kick-off on Saturday 8 April, albeit untelevised in UK.
Stat Attack
- Tottenham have won four of their last six league meetings against Brighton (W4, L2).
- Brighton have won just one of their last five league matches away against Tottenham (W1, L4).
- Three of Spurs’ last four league meetings against Brighton have been settled by 1-0 result, with Brighton winning on two of those three occasions.
- Three of Tottenham’s last five goals at home were scored by Harry Kane.
- Brighton have scored first in each of their last seven league games away from home (W4, D3).
Prediction
Amidst their inconsistent away form, Spurs’ home performances have been much better with just one goal conceded in their last five home games in all competitions, which is a positive base to build upon coming into this crunch clash.
Tottenham though can’t afford to be as lacklustre as they were at Everton because this game will be more competitive and intense, especially given the current state of play in the top-four race.
Brighton meanwhile clinically defeated Bournemouth with a controlled attacking performance complete with fantastic defending, which underlines their quality and solidness in contrast to Spurs who can be leaky despite their attacking prowess.
Goals therefore feel guaranteed but if Brighton score first, it is going to be difficult seeing how Tottenham can possibly get a result because De Zerbi’s Seagulls are a resilient team who know how to get results on the road no matter how tough the competition is.
Prediction: Tottenham 1-2 Brighton
Result: Tottenham 2-1 Brighton
