Stat Attack
- Swansea are unbeaten in four of their last five league meetings against Bristol City (W2, D2, L1).
- Bristol City are unbeatenm in four of their last six league visits to Swansea (W3, D1, L2).
- Both teams have won each of their last two league meetings at Swansea by 3-1 result.
- Joel Piroe has scored in each of Swansea’s last two home matches (D1, L1).
- Bristol City have failed to win any of their last four away matches (D2, L2).
Prediction
Having struggled for consistency and form in recent months, Swansea certainly have work to do as they now look ahead to next season but their end product has been their biggest issue – which cost them in a dominant performance at Millwall in midweek.
Bristol City meanwhile can’t be discounted from a late play-off charge but a win here is crucial to their run-in prospects, especially after a back-footed performance at Luton in midweek where they were lucky to lose 1-0 but this is a chance to reset.
Both teams though are mid-table and capable of better so I do expect a scrap which could well end level if both teams bring their best game.
Prediction: Swansea 1-1 Bristol City
Result: Swansea 2-0 Bristol City
