Sky Sports have confirmed nine Sky Bet Championship fixtures selected for TV broadcast in early April 2023.

Following the second-tier’s return from this month’s international break, Sky will kick off the Easter festivities with Sunderland’s trip to Burnley in a 8pm BST kick-off on Friday 31 March.

Blackpool’s Lancashire derby visit to Preston will be broadcast at 12:30pm on Saturday 1 April in Sky’s second match of that weekend.

Good Friday 7 April will see three fixtures broadcast live on Sky Sports, beginning with a blockbuster clash in the play-off race as Millwall host Luton at The Den in a 12:30pm kick-off.

Sky will later that day broadcast a North-East double-header as Sunderland host Hull City at 5:30pm, followed by Middlesbrough’s tricky home encounter against league leaders, Burnley who could possibly seal promotion that evening depending upon mathematics.

Easter Monday 10 April sees a quadruple-header of live Championship action on Sky, starting with Huddersfield Town’s home clash against Blackburn Rovers in a 12:30pm kick-off at John Smith’s Stadium.

Coventry then meet Watford at Coventry Building Society Arena at 3pm as both teams battle to secure a play-off spot.

Middlesbrough’s trip to Nigel Pearson’s Bristol City will kick off at 5:30pm in what could be a vital game for Boro’s automatic promotion ambitions.

Sky will conclude their Easter Monday coverage with a epic clash between the current top two teams at Turf Moor, as Burnley face Sheffield United in the concluding Easter Monday encounter.
