English Football League (EFL) officials have confirmed details for the Quarter-Finals draw of 2022-23 Carabao Cup.
Seven teams are already through to the last eight of this season’s Carabao Cup, of which three clubs – Charlton, Newcastle and Southampton – are seeking to win the competition for the very first time in their history.

When is the Quarter-Final Draw?
The Quarter-Final draw will take place on Thursday 22 December at approximately 10pm live on Sky Sports, following the conclusion of Manchester City’s Fourth Round clash against Liverpool – although the draw will be delayed if the match goes to a penalty shootout.
Mark Chapman will host coverage of the draw at the Etihad Stadium, with ex City goalkeeper, Shay Given and 2022 UEFA Women’s Euro winner with England, Mary Earps, conducting the draw.
How Many Teams will be Involved in the Quarter-Final Draw?
Eight teams will be involved in the Quarter-Final draw upon completion of all Fourth Round ties, with League One’s Charlton Athletic the only non Premier League team involved in this stage – following their shock win on penalties against Brighton & Hove Albion.

When Will Quarter-Final Ties Be Played?
Quarter-Final ties will be played across the midweek of 10-11 January 2023, with two ties selected for live broadcast on Sky Sports, which will be confirmed in due course upon completion of the draw.
Those who lose at this stage will receive £20,000 in prize money with the pair who then lose at the semi-finals stage awarded £25,000 each, whilst the eventual champions will be awarded £100,000 ahead of the runners-up who will earn £50,000 for finishing second.
