
Sky Sports have announced their latest Championship match selection for live broadcast in November 2022.
Alongside the already confirmed 15 matches selected for live broadcast from 30 September – 29 October, Sky have also picked up Wigan Athletic’s rearranged home clash against Blackburn on Tuesday 11 October for exclusive coverage.
Sky will also show eight furter matches across three matchweeks in November plus one further rearranged match, which sees Watford host Reading on 8 November in a match rescheduled due to postponement following HM Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September 2022.
Reading’s visit to Luton on Tuesday 1 November has also been chosen for live coverage albeit on Sky Sports Action, whilst Sheffield United’s trip to Bristol City that same evening airs on Sky Sports Main Event and Football channels.
Norwich’s home clash against QPR will be Sky’s standalone match on Wednesday 2 November, with kick-off at Carrow Road confirmed for 8pm GMT.
Reading then will face Preston at Select Car Leasing Stadium in Friday Night Football on 4 November, prior to Sheffield Utd’s clash against Burnley on 5 November at 12:30pm GMT at Bramall Lane.
The Championship will take a mid-season break due to 2022 FIFA World Cup, with Sky airing two matches prior to the sabbatical across 11 and 13 November as Birmingham City first will host Sunderland in Friday Night Football at St Andrew’s in a 8pm GMT kick-off.
Burnley then meet Blackburn Rovers at Turf Moor in the East Lancashire derby at 12pm GMT on Sunday 13 November, in the last second-tier match prior to the World Cup.
The season then resumes on Boxing Day with festive fixtures chosen for live broadcast set to be announced in due course.
