
Sky Sports have announced their latest selection of Sky Bet Championship matches for live broadcast in October 2022.
Sky will air 15 matches across October, kicking off with Luton’s trip to Hull which has been brought forward to 30 September in an 8pm BST kick-off on Friday Night Football.
Watford’s trip to Stoke follows at noon on Sunday 2 October followed by two matches on Tuesday 4 October, as Blackburn and Norwich visit Cardiff and Reading on Sky Football and Sky Sports Action channels respectively.
Preston then host West Brom on Wednesday 5 October at Deepdale live in front of Sky cameras.
QPR’s home clash against Reading at 8pm BST on Friday 7 October will commence the matchweek of 7-9 October, with Sky then airing Hull’s visit to Huddersfield on Sunday 9 October, with kick-off set for 12pm BST.
Saturday 15 October sees two Championship matches selected for live broadcast as Rotherham host Yorkshire rival, Huddersfield at New York Stadium at 12:30pm BST, before Watford meet Norwich at Vicarage Road in a 7:45pm BST kick-off.
Sky will again air three midweek matches which are scheduled for 18-19 October, with Sunderland and Rotherham’s trips to Blackburn and Stoke respectively chosen for broadcast on Tuesday 18 October.
Millwall then welcome Watford to The Den on Wednesday 19 October in the single live match that evening, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm.
Sky will air just one second-tier match across the weekend of 22-23 October, having chosen the Welsh derby between Swansea and Cardiff at Liberty Stadium, which has been scheduled for 12pm BST on Sunday 23 October.
The final Friday Night Football clash of October sees QPR visit Birmingham on 28 October before Sheffield United visit West Brom on Saturday 12:30pm BST in the final live Championship match of the month.
