Leeds United look to bounce back from defeat as Jesse Marsch’s Whites host Everton at Elland Road.
Victory could see Leeds climb back into the top four if Brighton lose elsewhere, whilst Everton can climb out of the relegation zone with a win.

Stat Attack
- Leeds have claimed five points from their last five league meetings against Everton (W1, D2, L2).
- Everton are unbeaten in their last four league visits to Elland Road (W2, D2).

Prediction
Having been clinically outclassed in a tightly-fought battle at Brighton on Saturday, this match will provide a chance for Leeds to bounce back but they will need to show more attack here, although they did well defensively with Illan Meslier in particular making cracking saves in goal.
Everton meanwhile seem like a team in transition but are still dangerous when able to get on the attack – particularly from long balls which could be key to scoring goals in the short-term if are clinical enough, whilst they defended well until they again conceded in the closing minutes.
Pressure though will be on the visitors to get a first league win of season heading into Saturday’s Merseyside derby, which could well suit Leeds if they opt to deploy a pressing game and frustrate Everton into mistakes from which they can pounce and score upon.
Prediction: Leeds 2-1 Everton
Result: Leeds 1-1 Everton
