English Football League officials have confirmed ball numbers for the Second Round of 2022-23 Carabao Cup.

Round Two will see the 13 Premier League clubs not involved in UEFA competitions enter the tournament alongside Burnley and Watford, who received a First Round bye by virtue of not finishing bottom of last season’s Premier League.

Like in Round One, Round Two has also been regionalised into North and South sections with eight of the clubs not involved in the opening round assigned to the Northern Section, whilst the other seven teams entering at this stage have been placed in the Southern Section.

The draw will take place live on Sky Sports this evening (10 August) after the conclusion of Sheffield Wednesday’s tie against Sunderland.

In the Northern Section, Bradford City have been handed ball number four following their comeback victory over Hull City, whilst Fleetwood Town will be ball number eight after stunning Wigan in a 1-0 home win.
