Arsenal have been drawn against Wolfsburg in the Quarter-Finals of 2021-22 UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Having scraped through the Group Stage as Group C runners-up at Hoffenheim’s expense on head-to-head goal difference, Arsenal will now face a tricky Quarter-Final as Jonas Eidevall’s Gunners play Wolfsburg who have previously won the competition twice across 2012-13 and 13-14 seasons.

Wolfsburg advanced to this stage as Group A winners following a three way tie with Juventus and Chelsea, which saw Emma Hayes’ Blues eliminated on head-to-head goal difference.

Victory would see Arsenal advance to the Semi-Finals where the winners of Real Madrid’s tie against current title-holders, Barcelona await with the second leg at home, as the two Spanish teams contest their first female El Classico in UEFA competitions.

The winner of that tie would then be classified as the home team for the Final on 22 May 2022 at Turin Stadium, Italy and will host the winners of the second semi-final, which could see Juventus play in a home final albeit as the away team.

Juventus drew seven-time champions Lyon in the Quarter-Finals with the winner of that tie set to meet Bayern Munich or PSG in their semi-final.

Quarter-Final ties will be held in late March 2022 with the first legs scheduled for 22-23 March, with the return legs a week later on either 30 or 31 March.

The Semi-Final ties will be contested over two legs across 23 – 24 April and 30 April – 1 May before the Final takes place on Sunday 22 May.
