Leicester have been drawn against Randers FC following completion of the Knockout Play-Offs in 2021-22 UEFA Europa Conference League.
Leicester drop into the third-tier UEFA competition after finishing third in their Europa League group following a dramatic final round decider, which consequently meant that they will now face Randers FC in the Knockout Play-Offs of the inaugural Europa Conference League.
Celtic also dropped into this competition after finishing third in Group G in the Europa League and Angel Postecoglou’s Hoops will now face Bodo/Glimt for a place in the Last 16.
Tottenham meanwhile could face Rapid Wien if UEFA disciplinary panel award them a 3-0 default win, after their final Group G clash against Rennes was postponed following a Coronavirus outbreak – with Rennes reportedly refusing to play on the proposed rescheduled date.
Should Spurs however not be handed the win, they would be eliminated and Vitesse instead advance to face the Austrian team.
1992-93 Champions League winners, Marseille will face Qarabag for the very first time as the French club chase a first European title since becoming one of three joint-winners in 2005 UEFA Interoto Cup.
Sparta Prague will face Partizan with the first leg set to be played at home, as the Czech Republic based club go in search of their first Round of 16 appearance in all UEFA competitions for the first time since 2015-16 Europa League season.
PSV Eindhoven, Fenerbahce and Midtjylland will take on Maccabi Tel Aviv, Slavia Prague and PAOK respectively.
LASK, Gent, Roma, AZ Alkmaar, Feyenoord, Copenhagen, Rennes and Basel all receive a bye to the Round of 16 after winning their groups.
First legs in this round will be held on Thursday 17 February 2022 with the second legs held a week later on Thursday 24 February, although some ties could be moved to earlier in week depending on match-hosting logistics.
