Fulham regained top spot from West Bromwich Albion in the latest round of action from 2021-22 Sky Bet Championship.

Matt Phillips provided a first minute assist for Alex Mowatt before netting himself in first-half injury time as West Brom defeated Blackburn 2-1 at Ewood Park, although a 51st minute conceded goal to Ben Brereton meant that the Baggies were knocked off the Championship summit.

Fulham consequently regained top spot after first half goals from Aleksandr Mitrovic and Fabio Carvalho proved enough to defeat Hull 2-0, thus going to the league summit on goal difference.

Josh Tymon’s first league goal for Stoke City proved enough to edge past a stubborn Nottingham Forest defence, as Michael O’Neill’s Potters climbed to third whilst Forest slipped to rock-bottom of the standings.

Sean Morrison’s 83rd minute header sealed a 3-1 victory for Cardiff over Millwall after Benik Afobe had fired the Lions back into the match, following Aden Flint’s brace for the Bluebirds.
