Roundup of social media reaction across the sporting world to England’s historic semi-final victory over Denmark at Euro 2020, as the Three Lions reached their first major final since 1966.
Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions came from behind through a Simon Kjaer own goal and rebound strike from Harry Kane to defeat Denmark 2-1, after Mikkel Damsgaard had fired the Danes in front with a stunning free-kick.
The result sparked wild celebrations across the sporting world on social media as the players all took to Twitter to celebrate their historical achievement after 55 years of heartache, with Kane leading the way as he applauded the rowdy crowd at Wembley for a thunderous atmosphere.
