Arsenal and Manchester United have discovered their paths towards the 2020-21 UEFA Europa League Final, avoiding each other in the Quarter and Semi-Finals.
Man Utd’s reward for knocking out AC Milan in the Round of 16 sees them take on European newcomers, Granada in the last eight with the winner advancing to the semi-finals where the victor of Ajax’s tie against AS Roma awaits.
Arsenal scraped past Olympiacos to earn themselves a difficult Quarter-Final clash against Slavia Prague, with the Czech team having already knocked out two British teams in Leicester and Rangers to qualify for this stage of the knockouts.
Should Mikel Arteta’s Gunners find a way past Slavia, they will take on either Dinamo Zagreb or Villarreal in the last four, with Dinamo having dumped out Arsenal fellow North London neighbours – Tottenham in the Last 16 to advance to the final eight.
The winner of the semi-final which involves two of Arsenal, Slavia Prague, Dinamo or Villarreal will be designated as the home team in the Grand Final, with the winner of Man Utd’s path playing as the away team.
First legs of Quarter-Final ties will be played Thursday 8 April with the second legs taking place a week later on Thursday 15 April.
Semi-Final first legs will take place on Thursday 29 April with the return legs taking place on 6 May.
2020-21 UEFA Europa League Final will be held at Stadion Miejski in Gdansk, Poland, on Wednesday 26 May 2021.
