Leicester City will meet Premier League title rivals, Manchester United in the Quarter-Finals of 2020-21 FA Cup.
This clash will see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Man Utd visit Brendan Rogers’ Foxes at the King Power Stadium, in a repeat of December’s thrilling Premier League encounter in which Leicester twice fought back for a 2-2 draw.
The clash will also represent only the second meeting between these teams in the FA Cup since United won the 1963 FA Cup Final, with the Red Devils winning a Fifth Round encounter on Valentine Day 1976 at Leicester’s former Filbert Street.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City meanwhile will visit Everton in a mouth-watering encounter at Goodison Park, as Carlo Ancelotti’s Toffees look to cause another cupset in their last bid for a title this season after beating Tottenham in a nine goal thriller on Wednesday evening.
Sky Bet Championship’s Bournemouth’s reward for stunning Burnley in the Fifth Round is a home tie against Southampton in an intriguing South Coast derby, with a spot at Wembley in the Semi Finals on offer for the winners.
Chelsea will host Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge as Chris Wilder’s Blades again face a London based club in the Quarter-Finals for a second consecutive season, having been knocked out of last season’s tournament by Arsenal who went on to become champions.
All four Quarter Final ties will be played across the weekend of 20-21 March, with Leicester’s clash against Man Utd definitely taking place on the latter date if at least one if not both teams advance to the the last 16 of this season’s Europa League.
