2020-21 Premier League: Week 23 – Wolves vs Leicester

Wolves welcome Leicester to Molineux in a huge Midlands derby in Premier League on Super Sunday.

Victory would see Wolves improve to 12th whereas Leicester will move back to within two points of Manchester United with a win.

Romain Saiss is again a doubt for Wolves after missing their last two matches with a knock.

Rayan Ait Nouri, Fernando Marcal (both groin), Raul Jimenez (head) and Jonny (knee) remain absent.

Leicester could welcome Wilfred Ndidi and Jamie Vardy back from hamstring and hernia injuries respectively.

Wes Morgan (back), Wesley Fofana, Timothy Castagne (both thigh) and Dennis Praet (hamstring) are sidelined.

Prediction

Wolves delivered a brilliant defensive display to withstand Arsenal’s attacking pressure in midweek, whilst managing to take their chances well when the Gunners’ defence imploded mentally with two careless red cards.

Leicester meanwhile seemed to have learned from their greediness of high defensive lines in recent games because they looked better balanced at Fulham on Wednesday, especially without losing their sharp attacking play of recent games to take a clinical routine win at Craven Cottage.

Molineux though has been a tricky place for the Foxes in recent league trips so I am expecting a tough physical encounter here, with a draw representing a decent result if they can deliver a strong display.

Prediction: Wolves 1-1 Leicester

Result: Wolves 0-0 Leicester
