West Bromwich Albion welcome Fulham to The Hawthorns in a blockbuster relegation six-pointer live on BBC One.
West Brom can leapfrog Fulham into 18th with victory, whereas Fulham will move five points clear of the Baggies with a win.
Team News
West Brom have no fresh injury concerns after Tuesday’s five goal thrashing from Manchester City on Tuesday.
Conor Townsend (knee) and Grady Diangana (hamstring) could both feature if deemed fit following late fitness tests.
Fulham could welcome Antonee Robinson back from suspension despite being eligible to return in Wednesday’s draw at Brighton.
Terence Kongolo (foot) could also feature but Tom Cairney (knee) remains absent.
Stat Attack
- West Brom are winless in their last ten meetings against Fulham (D6, L4).
- Fulham have taken six points from their last four trips to The Hawthorns (W1, D3).
- The Baggies have missed their only spot-kick in 17 previous Premier League meetings against Fulham.
- Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa has produced more tackles than any other Fulham player this season, having made 52 tackles in 19 league appearances.
- No team has conceded more goals in the Premier League this season than West Brom, who have conceded 48 goals in 20 matches.
Prediction
West Brom might be feeling demoralised after Tuesday’s performance but they did make a bright start to that game, yet were just defensively powerless to stop Man City once they hit their strides even though their man marking could of been better at times.
Fulham meanwhile executed their counter attack strategy well against Brighton in a closely fought contest, but they will need to take this game by the scruff of its neck if they are to make their recent improvement count against a huge relegation rival.
West Brom though will be looking to deliver a stronger performance so will be tough opposition but if Fulham can rediscover their end product and show more threat, I can see the Baggies’ poor form in this fixture continuing.
Prediction: WBA 1-2 Fulham
Result: WBA 2-2 Fulham
