2020-21 Premier League: Week 19 – Sheffield United vs Tottenham

Sheffield United welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Bramall Lane in the first of a Super Sunday triple-header.

Victory would move Chris Wilder’s Blades to within eight points of safety, whilst a win could see Spurs climb as high as second.

George Baldock and Enda Stevens could return for Sheffield Utd after recovering from knocks.

Oli McBurnie (knock) is a doubt but Jack Robinson (unspecified), Sander Berge (hamstring) and Jack O’Connell (knee) remain ruled out.

Tottenham could welcome Steven Bergwijn back from illness which saw the striker miss their last two matches.

Giovani Lo Celso remains absent with a thigh injury.

Stat Attack

Prediction

Sheffield Utd have produced two impressively attacking performances in the last week, of which both were rewarded with two confident wins although they do need to start putting more chances away when on the front foot.

Tottenham meanwhile scrapped to a midweek draw against Fulham but if want a win here, their end product to attacks must improve because the Blades’ defence will be just as tough to break down, particularly given the newfound confidence amongst the hosts.

This therefore will be a tough battle because Sheffield Utd’s home performances haven’t been too bad, although defensive errors have often been their downfall but I fancy them to pick up a result given that Tottenham’s away form has slumped in recent weeks.

Prediction: Sheffield United 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Result: Sheffield United 1-3 Tottenham Hotspur
