Cognizant Joins Aston Martin as Title Partner

Aston Martin have unveiled Cognizant as their new title partner ahead of their return to Formula One this season.

Cognizant are an global IT business specialising in digital products plus IT services, and will replace BWT as the team’s title partner as Racing Point officially rebrand as Aston Martin.

Speaking on Cognizant’s new partnership with Aston Martin, Cognizant CEO, Brian Humphries spoke of the similarities between both parties saying; “We are both innovative, forward-looking firms that like to move fast, stay focused and lead from the front.”

Aston Martin have confirmed that the team will be officially known as Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One Team, with Cognizant playing a key role in providing a ‘true digital transformation’ moving forward following swift changes to the social media channels in recent days.

Aston Martin Chairman, Lawrence Stroll is “hugely proud” to welcome Cognizant on board as their title partner in today’s digital revolution, saying; “In today’s world, as the digital revolution continues, I can’t think of a more suitable or valuable partner to work with us as we strive to make Aston Martin one of the greatest teams in the sport.”

New Aston Martin driver, Sebastian Vettel is looking forward to have Cognizant on board as he begins life at Aston Martin, as Vettel said; “There’s so much for me to discover over the next few months and I’m incredibly determined to help make this team even more successful.”

Lance Stroll meanwhile spoke of feeling “buzz and energy” around the factory with “… so much hunger in the team and I just can’t wait to get the season started.”

Aston Martin are returning to F1 for the first time since 1960 after they endured two disastrous seasons, in which they failed to score a single point in six race entries with Roy Salvadori twice missing out on points in sixth-placed finishes during 1959.
