Sparta Prague welcome Celtic to Stadion Letna in a huge bottom of Group H clash in 2020-21 UEFA Europa League.
Victory for Sparta could see them climb to second but a win for Celtic would move them above Sparta into third and potentially two points off second-placed AC Milan if the Italians lose to Lille in the other Group H match.
Sparta Prague will be without seven players through various injuries, including; Lukas Stetina, Adam Hlozek, Libor Kozak, Ondrej Celustka, David Hancko, Ladislav Krejci and Michael Sacek.
Celtic also have no fresh injury concerns to report as James Forrest (ankle), Mikey Johnston (knee) and Christopher Jullien (back) all remain absent until mid-December at earliest.
- Sparta Prague won their only previous meeting against Celtic, defeating the Scottish champions 4-1 at Celtic Park earlier this month.
- Celtic are unbeaten in two of three previous trips to Czech Republic (W1, D1, L1).
- Three of Celtic’s four Group Stage goals have come from Mohamed Elyounoussi, with two of his three goals coming before half-time.
If Celtic are to keep their knockout dreams alive, they have go to Sparta and play with more aggression than they did at home because the defending was just shambolic to say the least, whilst their attacking just lacked any real grunt at times which is a huge worry if compare this team to just 12 months ago because Sparta just dismantled them like a shop shelf ready for demolition.
On Sparta, they were just simply the more passionate which paid dividends in terms of their dominance and winning margin but with Celtic having a mixed record in the Czech Republic and having fought back to draw at Hibernian on Saturday domestically, they really should be on their guard against this unpredictable Hoops team.
Goals therefore look a certainty but I am going for Celtic to edge this because if their performance at Hibs has shaken them if anything, we should begin to see a more determined Celtic here looking to rediscover their top form.
Prediction: Sparta Prague 1-2 Celtic
Result: Sparta Prague 4-1 Celtic
