BBC Two will broadcast Tranmere Rovers’ clash against Brackley Town as part of eight second round ties of 2020-21 FA Cup selected for television and digital platforms.
Brackley’s visit to Prenton Park to take on Tranmere will be televised live on BBC Two on Friday 27 November with a 7:55pm (GMT) kick-off as The Saints look to cause a cupset and reach the Third Round for the first time in their history.
BT Sport meanwhile will broadcast Chorley’s trip to Peterborough with that match at London Road kicking off at 5:30pm (GMT) on Saturday 28 November, as the National League North team look to follow up their First Round scalp of 2013 winners, Wigan Athletic by knocking out another League One club.
BT will then broadcast two all Non League ties as Marine taking on Havant & Waterlooville at Rossett Park in a 2:45pm (GMT) start on Sunday 29 November before Canvey Island round off this stage with a home tie against Boreham Wood on Monday 30 November in a 7:45pm (GMT) kick-off.
Four ties have also been selected for broadcast on BBC and BT digital platforms, beginning with Morecambe’s tricky encounter against National League’s Solihull Moors on 28 November which will commence at 12:30pm (GMT) at Mazuma Stadium.
King’s Lynn Town reward for stunning Port Vale is a trip to Fratton Park as they take on League One’s Portsmouth in the mid-afternoon live match on 28 November at 3pm (GMT) as The Linnets look to continue their fairytale run.
BBC and BT will also stream Oxford City and Darlington’s away trips to Shrewsbury and Bristol Rovers respectively on 29 November with both matches getting underway at 1:30pm (GMT).
All 16 teams will receive £37,500 each in live broadcast fees following their selection for live coverage across the UK and eight further single camera ties on BBC will be announced in due course.
