Leicester City welcome Braga to the King Power Stadium in a blockbuster Group G clash in the Group Stage of 2020-21 Europa League.
Both teams enter this match locked on six points apiece with victory sending either team top and on the verge of qualifying for the knockouts.
Jonny Evans is set to feature for Leicester if he can recovers from a back injury which has sidelined him in recent matches
Timothy Castagne (hamstring), Ricardo Pereira (knee), Caglar Soyuncu (muscle), Daniel Amartey (hamstring) and Wilfred Ndidi (adductor) remain absent.
Braga have no fresh injury concerns to report with a full squad available for selection.
- This is Leicester’s first-ever meeting against Braga in all competitions.
- Leicester have won their only previous home clash against Portuguese opposition, winning 1-0 against Porto in Group G of 2016-17 Champions League.
- Braga have avoided defeat in three of their last five away trips against English opposition (W2, D1, L2).
- Paulinho has scored six goal in his last five Europa League Group Stage appearances for Braga.
In recent weeks, Leicester have shown impressive strength in not just squad rotation but tactics too given that they have produced four impressive attacking displays in the last two weeks, so I am expecting to see another strong performance.
Braga however are a difficult team who has decent away pedigree against English opposition, so will pose tough opposition to break down but if Leicester can turn out another ruthless display as Leeds found out to their loss on Monday, I can see another win for Leicester here.
Prediction: Leicester 2-1 Braga
Result: Leicester 4-0 Braga
