2019-20 Premier League: Week 34 – West Ham United vs Burnley

West Ham United look to move closer towards safety as they welcome Burnley to the London Stadium.

A win could see West Ham move seven points clear of relegation, whilst Burnley could climb to eighth with a win if Sheffield Utd lose to Wolves.

Sebastien Haller could return for West Ham after recovering from a hip injury that has sidelined him since the restart of this season.

Felipe Anderson (hamstring) and Robert Snodgrass (back) remains absent.

Burnley will be without Ben Mee and Jack Cork due to respective thigh and ankle injuries, which could potentially rule them out for rest of season.

Matt Lowton (foot), Ashley Barnes and Ben Gibson (both fitness) remain sidelined.

Prediction

West Ham have finally found some fighting spirit which is a real positive coming into these final games of the season, yet they once again conceded twice which is a huge concern because Burnley will be tough to break down.

Sean Dyche’s Clarets however will be without a key defender in Mee so if the Hammers are clinical, this could be a good opportunity to find a vital win to ease the pressure but Wood will still pose a huge issue given his form in this fixture.

A goalless draw therefore is surely out of question but if West Ham play with the same passion as they did in both of their last two matches, I can see them getting that win.

Prediction: West Ham United 2-1 Burnley

Result: West Ham United 0-1 Burnley
