Ipswich Draw Manchester City in Women’s FA Cup Fifth Round

Women’s FA Cup minnows, Ipswich Town have drawn Manchester City away in the Fifth Round of this season’s Women’s FA Cup.

Ipswich currently play in the fourth tier and will be looking to cause a cupset against the holders, who will face their first FA Cup game without Nick Cushing since 2013.

Birmingham City will face a difficult trip to the North East as they visit Sunderland, a former Women’s Super League team who are currently top of the FA National League North.

Chelsea meanwhile host Liverpool at Kingsmeadow in an all WSL tie whilst Arsenal will face Championship relegation battling Lewes, as both London based teams look to progress to the last eight.

Reading will also face a tough test as they visit Leicester City at Farley Way Stadium.
